The National Agricultural Law Center’s mission is to serve as the nation’s leading source of agricultural and food law research and information.  In doing so, it utilizes a network of partners across the country to extend its resources and reach. A longtime partner is the Penn State Center for Agricultural and Shale Law (CASL). CASL resources cover a wide variety of agricultural law topics, and include webinars, weekly agricultural law reviews, an agricultural law podcast, and more.

CASL also hosts the Pennsylvania Agricultural Law Symposium. NALC Senior Staff Attorney Rusty Rumley spoke at last year’s program, covering carbon credits and contracts. This year’s Pennsylvania Agricultural Law Symposium will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18 at Penn State Dickinson Law, Lewis Katz Building in University Park, Pennsylvania.

“The Penn State Center for Agricultural and Shale Law is a go-to resource for the agricultural community, making them an excellent and fitting partner to the NALC,” said NALC Director Harrison Pittman.

From webinars to conferences and beyond, the CASL team has been a strong presence in many of the NALC’s educational programs — and that continues this spring with two upcoming webinars from key members from the Center for Agricultural and Shale Law.

“These webinars are a perfect example of what makes our relationship with CASL so valuable,” Pittman said. “We’re proud to keep working together to serve agricultural stakeholders across the country.”
